Plans & Pricing
Just like with everything else it does, Nobly chooses to keep its pricing models clean and simple. It offers a single plan that grants access to Nobly in its entirety. Nobly doesn’t have a traditional trial version, but they offer a free demo.
Original package
Nobly’s one and only package comes at the price of £39/mo (billed annually). It includes every feature of the POS, a free menu upload, continuous software updates, and full-time phone support. You won’t be bothered with a contract or any hidden costs. If you feel like Nobly isn’t cutting it for you, stop using it at any time with no strings attached.
Additional registers
Nobly’s original package includes a software license for one register. If you are looking for more than one device operating the POS, you’ll have to pay £29 monthly for every additional register.
Overview
Nobly was founded in 2013 with a proud goal of helping small, independent businesses. The team willingly chose to oppose the tendencies of the market and never went for an overblown, one-size-fits-all solution. Instead, they’ve focused on making the perfect POS for the hospitality industry.
Features and Functionality
Nobly has everything we’ve come to expect from a market-leading POS system nowadays: intelligent reporting, efficient ingredient tracking, stock and staff management, online and offline modes, etc. It’s all there, and everything works fine.
What makes Nobly special ten? What makes it shine among other POS systems in general, and payment systems for the hospitality industry in particular?
Table service
This is a must-have feature for all restaurant-oriented POS systems so obviously, Nobly has it implemented. That said, it also takes it one step beyond the ordinary with simplified table management, convenient split payment mechanics, and integrated table reporting analytics.
Not only does the system make the service process friendlier both to your team and to your guests, but it also analyzes the performance of your employees, gives insights on bestselling items, best trading hours and overall layout tips by pointing out which tables are used frequently and which are left to gather dust.
Inventory management
Nobly has a handy inventory management system in place that automates the lion’s share of a manager’s routine tasks. Categorize your stock, manage bestsellers, get insights on items you are running low on, and get notifications about the supplies that are running thin, all on the fly.
Loyalty support
Nobly has a built-in CRM with a couple of handy features that allow you to discover and keep track of your returning customers, their orders, preferences, and habits. Reward them with custom loyalty cards, analyze the efficiency of your loyalty programs, and come up with new ways of making new guests feel welcome in your establishment through personalization, all from the comfort of your tablet.
Hardware Requirements
Nobly is an iPad POS meaning it works with a lineup of Apple products that includes all of the recent generations of tablets and MacBooks. In simpler words, you can purchase a software license, install the app on your device, and then connect it to the network.
Alternatively, you are free to purchase hardware bundles as well as separate items like kitchen printers, barcode scanners, and iPad stands directly from Nobly. The most essential bundle including a 6th gen iPad, a mPop cash drawer, and a Heckler Windfall iPad stand will cost you $654.
Integrations & Add-ons
Nobly has partnered with iZettle, Sum Up, Paymentsense, and Barclaycard to ensure your business has an edge in terms of payment flexibility. Cards, cash, wireless, and contactless transfers are available to you and your customers out of the box.
Additionally, Nobly has worked hard to get some of the most powerful integrations on the market into its core system:
- Quickbooks and Xero for accounting
- Deputy for workforce management
- MarketMan for order management
- MailChimp for marketing and notifications
- Pepper for mobile payments
Ease of Use
Simplicity is one of Nobly’s key selling points. You can set the whole thing up in 15 minutes or so. The interface is intuitive and adjustable, reports and insights are great at visualizing processes going on in your business, and table management features are as clear as day. We guarantee than neither you nor your team will find Nobly confusing or complicated.
Customer Support
Nobly can truly be proud with its responsive support team of professionals who are there to assist you. They offer full-time phone based customer support, as well as a great FAQ section, informative blog, and tutorial videos.
-
Phone Support
Full-time phone support is available to all users. The calls are free for callers from within the United Kingdom. -
Email
All users gain access to the email support team upon purchasing the subscription. We can’t help but notice that their response time is lightning-fast. -
Video Tutorials
Nobly doesn’t have too many video tutorials, but their POS support page has clear guides, instructions, and manuals to every element of the system. -
FAQ
Nobly has a slick FAQ page that manages to cover everything that’s essential to the system without growing to the size of a great white whale in text form. -
Blog
You’ll be able to find many useful business tips, tricks, and guides on Nobly’s blog. Their writing style is light, fun, and engaging while the content is on-point and informative.
Final Word
Nobly may not be as durable and flexible as some of the more expensive options on the market, but that’s only because it was never meant to be a Jack of all trades. This POS is a handy solution for small businesses that packs a punch in terms of functionality while maintaining a relatively modest cost of services.
