Overall Revel Systems is a great choice for high volume and fast-paced businesses that want a full-featured and robust omnichannel POS platform. It has all the ordering and management features that businesses look for. It’s slightly on the pricier side especially for small businesses who may not utilize all the POS features that Revel has to offer. Compatibility to work with some third-party hardware streamlines the setup process and makes the operations easy.

While it’s certainly not the cheapest POS system in the market, with its advanced backend and robust integrations, it’s hard to imagine that any business owner from the foodservice industry would find it lacking in terms of features. However, it lacks a trial period and pricing transparency that most of the POS services offer.

We recommend Revel POS for businesses of all sizes with a large budget that can pay higher monthly fees in addition to the setup cost.

Each of Revel’s subscription packages includes 24/7 phone support, third-party integrations, unlimited software updates, and unlimited data storage.

Normally, the typical POS setup with one terminal will cost you $649 for installation, a flat fee for processing, and a $99 monthly software subscription.
